Research on Political Campaigning During the 2024 Election Cycle
For my Public Relations Research class, I worked in a group of six to conduct statistical research by conducting a focus group. survey, and background research on previous studies to understand Generation Z’s voting behavior in the 2024 Presidential Election. With a whole new age demographic being able to vote, and being heavily influenced by the digital age of social media, we tested to find out what campaign methods from former Vice President Kamala Harris were the most effective with the younger audience. The results of this study, and the rest of this process, can be seen in the presentation and final paper.

Presentation
This presentation sums up the main takeaways, research foundations, and ideas we found during the duration of our study, and it was presented to a group of about thirty students and a few professors.
"I think… part of [appealing to audiences] is you want to be a person. So when [Harris], take her age into consideration, [is] trying to act more like Gen Z… it's kind of fake, that’s not how you actually act, that's not your real personality”.
